Singer Shane Hales MNZM, an English immigrant who found fame as the lead singer of the raucous Pleazers in the mid-1960s, before he became one of the more enduring faces of that decade remaining a household name to this day.
He has recently been awarded an MZZM (OBE) for his services to music in New Zealand in the Queens birthday honours list 2017
Legendary Kiwi entertainer Shane is Famous for his TV appearances on C’mon 68 & 69, Happen Inn, & Freeride as well as his current long running TV music series "Rockin’ the Planet with Shane" Face TV Sky 83.
His hit records include songs like Saint Paul, Heya, Natural Man and Lady Samantha Shane has released over a dozen albums, and is still actively touring the country and playing to appreciative crowds .He personally hand picked the members of his ShaZam Band from the cream of NZ’s musicians.
